Civil Construction, Construction engineering
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in conducting topographic surveys.
∎ Operate surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS equipment and levels, to assist in data collection and recording.
∎ Preparing survey reports, including drawings, maps and charts to support project documentation and decision-making processes.
∎ Assist in establishing control points and benchmarks for construction projects.
∎ Collaborate with the surveying team, project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate surveying and mapping information.
∎ Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with survey specifications and design plans.
∎ Assist in identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues related to survey data.
∎ Stay updated with the latest surveying techniques, tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience working as a Surveyor in civil infrastructure projects.
∎ Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software, such as total stations, GPS devices and GIS.
∎ Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and procedures.
∎ Ability to interpret design plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
∎ Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
∎ Familiarity with relevant surveying codes, regulations, and industry standards.
∎ Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with project teams.
∎ Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in surveying data collection and reporting.
∎ Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
