Responsibilities & Context:
We welcome applications from both experienced candidates and fresh Civil Engineering graduates who are eager to build their careers in construction quality management.
Key Responsibilities
§ Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
§ Inspect construction materials, equipment, and workmanship to verify compliance with approved specifications and applicable standards.
§ Monitor the quality of civil and finishing works, including concrete, brickwork, plastering, tiles, painting, doors, windows, and other construction activities.
§ Verify dimensions, levels, alignment, and workmanship against approved drawings and project specifications.
§ Prepare and maintain daily QC reports, site inspection reports, checklists, and photographic records of identified defects.
§ Identify non-conformities and workmanship defects, report them to the concerned personnel, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
§ Follow up on rectification works and verify that identified defects have been properly resolved.
§ Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project In-charges, and other relevant teams to resolve quality-related issues.
§ Review approved drawings, technical specifications, and relevant project documents before and during site inspections.
§ Assist in preparing quality control plans, inspection and test records, material inspection records, and other quality-related documents.
§ Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with established quality procedures and relevant safety requirements.
§ Maintain proper documentation of inspections, non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and rectification status.
§ Participate in site meetings and provide regular updates on quality issues, inspection findings, and corrective actions.
§ Perform regular site visits and report quality-related observations to the QC management team.
