Educational Requirements:

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assisting Project Manager in planning, organizing and executing construction projects;
∎ Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion;
∎ Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs;
∎ Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations;
∎ Overseeing the logistical requirements of the project;
∎ Delegating work to subordinates;
∎ Dealing with contracts and mitigating the impact of any issues;
∎ Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within contract timescales;
∎ Managing unique projects and monitoring firm objectives' progress;
∎ Ensuring that all equipment is operational and properly maintained as well as that the office is stocked with the essential supplies;
∎ Working in an office and on a construction site;
∎ Monitoring project progress and ensure it is on schedule and within budget;
∎ Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation;
∎ Communicating with top management in Japan;
∎ Managing and coordinating project implementation teams, including subcontractors and suppliers;
∎ Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes and other legal requirements;
∎ Providing regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders; and
∎ Identifying and mitigate project risks and issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 10 years experience in relevant field in multinational construction company;
∎ At least 8 years of overseas experience in relevant field in multinational construction company;
∎ Expert knowledge of building construction;
∎ Must be fluent in Japanese language, both spoken and written;
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
∎ Must have knowledge on project management software and tools (cloudia software);
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
∎ Willingness to travel to project sites as required;
∎ Understanding of all facets of the construction process;
∎ Proven working experience in construction management;
∎ Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods;
∎ Qualification as 'Certified Construction Accountant' is preferable; and
∎ Qualification as 'Building Lots and Buildings Transaction Qualification' is preferable.
