Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ GK is one of key actor who serving for the well-being of Rohingya refugees living in the camps in Cox`s Bazar who have access to health and nutrition services to ensure their improved health and nutrition status. GK is currently delivering services in eleven (11) camps through eleven (11) facilities. With the support of UNHCR, GK runs 24/7 service in various Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs), 24/7 Inpatient Department (IPD) service in Registered Camps, Health Posts (HPs), an outdoor patient consultation point in transit center, and one specialized physiotherapy center at Shamlapur for both Rohingya and host community.
∎ This position is for Bhasanchar.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Using proper physiotherapy approach such as electrotherapy and Exercise therapy
∎ Quality control of support to people with disabilities by mainstream development organization.
∎ Contribute to the monitoring, data collection and documentation processes of the project related to poverty graduation and change in practices of the mainstream development organization.
∎ Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
∎ Maintains production objectives by noting current treatment trends; monitoring actual physical therapy services rendered to production objectives.
∎ Enhances physical therapy and hospital reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
∎ Advocates for disabled people, local communities as well as the profession.
∎ Educating, training and transferring skills to other staff.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 45 years
∎ At least one (1) year experiences with relevant position with NGOs/ INGOs will be preferable.
∎ working experience on Physiotherapy
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
∎ Fluency in oral and written English
∎ Proficiency MS office particularly excel with expertise in Quick books is preferable
∎ Good organizational skills
∎ Good communication skills
∎ Ability to cope with stress working in camp environment
∎ Good command of Chitagonian/Rohingya language and Bangla. English language skills an asset.
∎ Flexibility to perform other tasks and take initiative when required.
∎ Cultural awareness/ sensitivity and empathy to the target population
∎ Awareness and observation of universal medical ethics.
