Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lighter Vessel Coordination
∎ Assist in scheduling and arranging lighter vessels for cargo discharge from mother vessels.
∎ Coordinate berthing, anchoring, and loading/discharge operations at the outer anchorage or designated port zone.
∎ Basic understanding of port documentation, vessel terms, and safety regulations.
∎ Physically fit and comfortable working in field-based roles, sometimes during night shifts or irregular hours.
∎ Strong communication and coordination skills.
∎ Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and communication tools (e.g., VHF, WhatsApp for field updates).
