∎ A Master’s degree with a B.Sc. in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering at a recognized university from home or abroad would get the preference.
∎ Candidates having a Diploma in Refrigeration & Air conditioning may be given preference.

∎ 6-8 years in a relevant field.
∎ Experience with YORK Brand Chiller will be given preference.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Able to read drawings and understand the technical terms.
∎ Good knowledge of Computer Applications like MS Word and MS Excel is required and knowledge of Auto CAD will be given preference.
∎ Knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to manage troubleshooting works in additional projects will be an added advantage.
∎ Willingness to work on holidays and after office hours, if necessary.
∎ Third division/ class/ equivalent CGPA of the candidates in any educational level will not be accepted.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Directly supervise the daily operation & regular maintenance of the Chiller Plant – Chiller, Cooling Tower, Primary Chilled Water Pumps, Secondary Chilled Water Pumps, Condenser Water Pumps, VFDs, MCC, and other valves and accessories.
∎ Supervise the operation & regular maintenance activities of Ventilation Systems (Generator/Chiller/STP/ Car Parking).
∎ Directly supervise the regular maintenance work of Water Supply Pumps and Waste Water Pumps and Deep Tube Well.
∎ Directly supervise the regular Operation & Maintenance work of Fire Pumps (Jockey Pump, Electric Pump, and Diesel Engine Pump) and Fire Hydrant System.
∎ Implement the predictive and preventive maintenance of the plant.
∎ Monitor and Control inventory of spares and other engineering materials.
∎ For vendor work purposes, generate work memos/requisitions, collect quotations, get the work done as per work order, and prepare bill memos.
∎ Assist in preparing product specifications and procurement.
∎ Ensure a safe working environment at the plant.
∎ Maintain contract management (chiller plant).
∎ Report to Deputy Director (O & M) for all plant operation & maintenance activities.
∎ Any other assignment assigned by the Director/ Deputy Director (O & M).
∎ Job Overview: Assistant Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supervising & overseeing the operation, maintenance & troubleshooting of the Chiller Plant and HVAC System along with other mechanical systems & equipment. The Candidate should have a good technical background along with hands-on experience. He also should have communication and interpersonal skills.
