Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in developing and implementing supply chain strategies to meet business objectives.
∎ Develop and execute plans to achieve targets, ensuring on-time delivery and product availability.
∎ Ensure the right products are delivered to the right place at the right time.
∎ Oversee product assortment and ensure it is aligned with the needs of different outlets.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and retailers.
∎ Coordinate with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment processes effectively.
∎ Analyze supply chain data to identify potential issues and forecast needs.
∎ Assist with demand forecasting and market analysis to optimize supply chain performance.
∎ Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality.
∎ Ensure compliance with supply chain standards, regulations and company policies.
∎ Support the line manager with day-to-day supply chain operations.
∎ We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented person in the role of “Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Management” to oversee the supply chain part of our non-pharma category (basic products of baby care, health & beauty care, nutrition items, Dairy items, Beverage items, household items, etc.). The ideal candidate will streamline operations, manage vendor relationships, and optimize supply chain processes to ensure the timely availability of high-quality products while controlling costs.
