Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct research and analysis to understand the chemical properties of various plastics used in the manufacturing of electrical switches and sockets.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve product designs for enhanced performance and functionality.
∎ Design and execute experiments to evaluate the compatibility of different plastics with electrical components and identify the most suitable materials.
∎ Optimize plastic parts manufacturing processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and consistency in product quality.
∎ Develop and implement quality control procedures for plastic materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
∎ Stay updated with advancements in plastic engineering, additives, and compounding techniques, and apply this knowledge to product development and innovation.
∎ Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality plastic materials that meet the company's specifications and sustainability goals.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Experience in the relevant field
∎ Work proficiency in using engineering software and tools for plastic material testing, analysis, and simulations
