∎ To strengthen our continuous business growth ambition in Bangladesh, Arla Foods is currently looking for an energetic and strategic individual for the position of Assistant Manager - QEHS.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure QMS & FSMS compliance as per ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000, HACCP requirements throughout the manufacturing & repacking facilities.
∎ Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; production data analysis, documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
∎ Ensure Physical, chemical & microbiological tests of raw materials, Intermediate FG, packaging materials to meet local regulations e.g. standard of BSTI, BFSA etc.
∎ Implement set of standard throughout the value chain for quality & food safety as per Arla global QEHS requirements
∎ Ensure robust supplier performance by effective audit program, unannounced visit, meetings collaboration etc.
∎ Work closely with cross-functional team e.g. production, Warehouse, Engineering, HR & admin etc. to close Quality, Food safety & hygiene related non-conformity, observations at site.
∎ Ensure Good manufacturing practice (GMP), Good laboratory practices ( GLP) by implementing ISO 17025 standard & ensure consumer complaint & in house complaint investigations
∎ Work closely with cross-functional team e.g. marketing, sales, supply chain, regulatory to maintain set of QEHS standard for all relevant business arena.
∎ Ensure training & audit at DBH & relevant sales colleagues at Head office to ensure robust product (FG) handling guidelines.
∎ Take lead on NPD from Quality perspective collaborating with global NPD, local marketing & regulatory team
∎ Understand & implement relevant Arla global health & safety standard at site e.g. PTW, PPE management, Work place transport management, LOTO, First aid management etc.
∎ Ensure consistent training for shop-floor team thru tool box talk, class room training, emergency mock drill etc. to engage & inspire shop floor team.
∎ Take lead to ensure LIA ( Arla H&S management system) system to close all near miss, H&S observations at site
∎ Implement technical standard & guidelines for effective ETP operations aligning with cross-functional team at site.
∎ Ensure testing of waste water to meet compliance & site waste management process
∎ Effective collaboration with local regulatory body to ensure environmental licensing task by accomplishing product testing from external/in-house lab & provide strong support on all sustainability project
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 years' experience in production or quality functions in Chemical/FMCG industry.
∎ Should have knowledge on specific product and technology know-how.
∎ Lead auditor/ internal auditor training on FSSC 22000, QMS 9001:2015, OHSAS 45001:2018, IMS (Integrated management system) will be an added advantage.
∎ Know relevant statutory, company and factory standards, rules and procedures
∎ Effective communication both verbal and written in English & Bangla.
∎ Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Computer Knowledge (Specially on MS Excel, Power point) to generate reports on need basis.
