Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering (ME) / Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (NAME) ( BUET / CUET preferable). Educational experience may be relaxed for highly skilled and experienced candidates.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To track client's wanting and prepare quotation with estimated duration and send to clients in time.
∎ To be able to plan, schedule, coordinate, manage and execute the relevant project to meet the target.
∎ To deliver the project within the critical path from scoping through to close-out.
∎ To track and follow-up customer on regular basis towards mobilization & development of business
∎ To properly manage, communicate and direct the technical team before /at the time of ongoing works at site.
∎ Proper inventory Management of stock/materials/provision and others and ensure in time supply to shore/offshore/work places as and when necessary.
∎ Managing and interpreting customer requirements and solving client problems
∎ Negotiating tender and contract terms
∎ Offering after-sales support services
∎ Preparing job done report and report to the reporting authority.
∎ Recording and maintaining client data base.
∎ Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
∎ Liaising with other members of the team and technical experts
∎ As directed, be the member of Company's Emergency Response Team & Salvage Team and Company's Safety Management System.
∎ Assist various on-going activities/projects (new building & shore based industrial) with logistics supports
∎ To provide leading efforts to analyze, design, and produce complex Naval and Marine systems and major sub-systems
∎ To interpret and apply specifications when designing mechanical and naval items
∎ To manage, prepare and participate in design reviews with internal and external customers
∎ To Follow/support the development of new technical principles, theories, concepts, techniques and Processes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in Marine & Offshore / OIL / LPG/Ship Building Sector will get preference
∎ Candidates not having at least consecutive 03 years shore based experience need not apply.
∎ Must have very good leadership traits to independently command and allocate the duties and responsibilities of the personnel of operation team.
∎ Thorough understanding all sort of Vessel operation, Legal matter, Vessels Registration, Survey & Bay Crossing.
∎ Coordinate activities with regulatory bodies to ensure minimum cost, consistent with safety.
∎ Candidate must be familiars with the activities of WTC, regarding MMD, DG Shipping and Marine Class related works.
∎ Must have computer literacy (word & excel) including email correspondences and to keep records of all information relating to the maintenance/running hours, prepare reporting as and when asked by the higher management.
∎ PMP (Project Management certificate) and working experience in OIL/Gas/Marine/ship building/Shipping Agency operation is an added advantage.
