Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline.

∎ Relevant professional certifications such as Diploma in Social Compliance
∎ Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM), or Lead Auditor course are preferred.

∎ Proven experience in a compliance-related role, preferably within the textile/garments sector.
∎ Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of relevant standards, COCs, rules, and laws, such as BLL/BLR, BSCI, SLCP, C-TPAT, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, HIGG FEM, ISO, and buyers' COC.

∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with internal divisions to develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with industry regulations, laws, buyer's Code of Conduct (COC), ILO conventions, international standards, and best practices.
∎ Conduct regular buyer compliance audits, assessments, and risk evaluations to identify areas for improvement and potential compliance issues.
∎ Implement changes in applicable regulatory laws/rules/COC/policies and adopt best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
∎ Provide training and education to employees on compliance and occupational health and safety (OHS) matters, ensuring their understanding of the importance of adherence to policies and procedures.
∎ Assist in the development and implementation of compliance monitoring systems and controls, including developing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and conducting daily monitoring.
∎ Investigate compliance breaches, incidents, and allegations, and recommend corrective actions and preventive measures to address identified issues.
∎ Prepare and submit reports to the head of sustainability, highlighting compliance performance, trends, and areas requiring attention or improvement.
∎ Assist in managing relationships with buyers' representatives, external and internal auditors, ensuring effective communication and cooperation.
∎ Coordinate with labor relations through different committee members, such as the safety committee, participation committee, anti-assessment committee, etc.
∎ Support buyers' and stakeholders' safety programs, such as Nirapon SMS 90-day program reporting, Quarterly Performance Validation for H&M, employee's well-being programs, and other standard implementation programs.
∎ Handle employee grievances and address concerns through different helpline centers as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess potential compliance risks and propose effective solutions.
∎ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in compliance documentation, CAP reports, and records.
∎ Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with individuals at all levels of the organization.
∎ Ability to work under stress, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
∎ High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
