Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering/ B.Sc in Naval Architecture
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Maintenance, Shipping
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Group of Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To monitor daily shipyard work as per work schedule of shipyard;
∎ Daily reporting to Head Office of the running daily work of shipyard;
∎ To monitor the quality of material used as per W/O;
∎ To take individual decision of any arise situation at site;
∎ For any abnormalities/irregularities should be recorded and send duly to head office;
∎ Should have good management capacity of site management.
∎ Any other task as per management decision
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 4 years' experience in ship building and vessel repair maintenance.
∎ 4-5 years for Diploma Engineers and 2 years for B.Sc. Engineers.
∎ Direct Engagement in shipbuilding at any reputed shipyard.
∎ Have knowledge on i) Ship Design, ii) Basic ship operation & maintenance iii) Auto cad iv) Reporting to seniors. Only males are allowed to apply.
∎ Should have strong interpersonal, communications, negotiation, public speaking and presentation skills.
∎ Well structured, change oriented and results focused.
∎ Adaptable, flexible, patient and able to work with little outside direction
∎ The ability to set priorities and take initiative
∎ Excellent organizational and time management skills
∎ Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies
∎ Ability to perform with a high degree of professionalism, integrity and business ethics
∎ Should have good reporting skills.
