Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering from any public university (preferable from RUET, CUET, KUET, IUT).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operation:
∎ Ensure prudent, economic and safe operation of the plant in the assigned shift in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
∎ Startups, running and shutdown of the engines.
∎ Monitor and control all running equipment parameters following prudent operating practice.
∎ Maintain and update station operation records and prepare all required reports on plant operation.
∎ Direct supervise the operations and maintenance personnel assigned to the shift on day to day activities of the plant.
∎ Assist in planning and scheduling the operations of the generating units in preparing the shift assignment of all personnel.
∎ Assist in conducting performance test, analyzing operational data and develop operational plans that will optimize plant performance and profitable.
∎ Perform diagnostic work on electro-mechanical faults and plant outages and recommend repair of equipment as may be appropriate. Assist in planning and scheduling the operations of the generating units in preparing the shift assignment of all personnel.
∎ Specially perform on switching switchgear of power plant substation in LV, MV and high voltage system.
∎ Issue work permit like cold work, hot work, lock out/tag out and isolation of any system as per requirement of safely maintenance work.
∎ Maintenance:
∎ Maintenance, trouble shooting of engine based power plants.
∎ Ensure proper schedule maintenance and other of plant machinery carried out in time.
∎ Maintain proper documentation process for machinery maintenance.
∎ Plan with the Plant Manager regarding upcoming maintenance and raise spare requisition for that.
∎ Ensure work place safety, procedure and checklist followed for any electrical/mechanical job.
∎ Follow company policy, security and cost effectiveness.
∎ Any other task as assigned by management.

∎ Having at least 5 to 8 years experience in operation, maintenance & management of HFO based fired power plant.
∎ Should be courageous, proactive, intelligent and vigilant.
