∎ BBA/MBA
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Generate monthly requirements through Material requirement planning to identify the requirement of RM and according to the ROFO.
∎ Ensure delivery of materials at the right price from the right source at the right time with the right quantity and quality.
∎ Start LC processing for RM/PM considering the import lead time and the safety stock level.
∎ Follow up shipment and documentation maintaining proper communication with supplier and forwarder to ensure availability of materials on time.
∎ Timely and cost-effective procurement from overseas and local sources in accordance with company policies and requirements.
∎ Negotiate with local and international vendors for a competitive price and establish long-term business relationships for better support.
∎ Prepare a comparative statement to select the best supplier according to the price.
∎ Knowledge of value chain analysis for packaging materials
∎ Printing knowledge on different types of materials like polystar,BOPP etc
∎ Knowledge about lead time calculation process for packaging materials
∎ Working proactively with functional teams such as the Business, Production and Warehouse team to keep better synchronization between demand and supply.
∎ Supplier profiling, screening and selecting supplier as per specifications, less lead time, reliability and creating a competitive situation.
∎ Work jointly with QC and Business team to develop new vendors for existing and new products.
∎ Prepare reports highlighting the Savings and coordinate to minimize demurrage.
∎ Accumulate claims against suppliers for their low quality and less quantity and ensure claim compensation on time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 4-5 years experience in packaging handling
