Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Site Engineer will be based in Sirajganj or Cumilla Town Office and will work under the supervision of Town Manager. He/She will be provided with additional technical advice by the Team Leader and other Key Experts. He will be responsible to provide support to the construction supervision of works under the Project
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎
∎ a) To ensure high standards of quality assurance throughout the execution of and completion of the works within stipulated time period, including period review of the progress and to monitor any untoward delays to the implementation process in compliance with the Contractor's Work Plan
∎ b) Supervision of the project implementation activities carried out by the Contractor, for CBC and NCB contracts, to ensure complete compliance with the bill of quantities, drawings, technical specifications and in full compliance with the provisions of the Contract Documents;
∎ c) to assist in effective project monitoring by providing project management and monitoring support.
∎ d) Ensure the quality of materials used by the contractor according to an established Material Approval process, including all contractual on-site and laboratory testing requirements, in accordance with the terms of the specifications and contract
∎ e) to review all activities associated with Construction to ensure compliance of the Contract Agreement in order to maintain all social and environmental mitigations initiatives as detailed in the requirements as the referred in the EMP and SMP documents.
∎ f) to review all activities associated with Construction health and safety of the site personnel and assured compliance with the relevant terms of the Contract
∎ g) to assist in the preparation of interim certification of the Contractor's bills, with the preparation of the related measurements of the works and maintain full accounting of physical and financial progress.
∎ h) To review and control possible requirements for variation to contract, inclusive of associated approval and measurement documentation.
∎ i) To prepare construction progress report and final completion report of the particular contract package.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ S/he must have at least 5 (five) years in site construction supervision and quality control experience of which at least 3 (three) years' experience of working on urban/semi-urban scale development projects, with reference to road, drainage, water supply, sanitation, and building structures.

Salary: Negotiable
