Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop innovative and sustainable architectural concepts that align with project requirements and company objectives.
∎ Create detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using industry-standard software.
∎ Lead and manage architectural projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
∎ Refine and evolve architectural concepts through all design stages, considering functionality, aesthetics, space utilization, and user experience.
∎ Collaborate closely with the design team, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and successful project execution.
∎ Communicate design concepts and specifications effectively through presentations, meetings, and written documentation.
∎ Ensure architectural designs adhere to local building codes, zoning regulations, accessibility standards, and other relevant regulations.
∎ Secure necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities.
∎ Research, create and recommend appropriate materials, specifications, finishes, and construction methods that align with design intent, budget, and sustainability goals.
∎ Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and cost estimates to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
∎ Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to architectural plans.
∎ Explore innovative design concepts and sustainable building practices to enhance project efficiency, energy performance, and environmental impact.
∎ Prepare detailed architectural documentation, including design drawings, technical specifications, and project progress reports.
∎ Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation compliance.
∎ Identify potential design and construction risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and disruptions.
∎ Conduct post-construction evaluations to assess the performance and functionality of completed projects, making recommendations for improvement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Applicant must have I.A.B. Membership
∎ Minimum 5-10 years of experience in architectural design, with progressive responsibility and project management involvement.
∎ Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3D modeling tools.
∎ Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and technical skills.
∎ Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
∎ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to both clients and team members.
