∎ Khulna University, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, BRAC University, The University of Asia Pacific students will get preference.

Job Context:
∎ Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS) is a leading nation level NGO engaged in socio-economic development since 1974 and providing microfinance to over 230,000 people both in rural and urban areas with financial support from PKSF and other financial institutions.
∎ MSS wants to recruit a young Architect, who is proactive, skilled, innovative as well as creative and have gained some experience for working on its various building projects, which includes building educational institutions health clinics and hospital and also its own offices in different district of Bangladesh.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka (with frequent visit to field/site areas)
∎ Employment Status: Full-time (Regular) /Part-time (Contractual)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Job Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
∎ Researches programs, plans and designs and administers different projects, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes and building materials and systems.
∎ Handle projects from the initial briefing through to the final stages of construction;
∎ Produces conceptual plans, rendering and construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit.
∎ Work closely with other professionals including engineers, surveyors, architectural technicians and technologists, to meet the necessary standards. Also work closely with construction specialists on site.
∎ Any other relevant task assigned by Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience Requirements: Minimum 2-3 years proven working experience as an Architect in any reputed architectural/ construction firm.
∎ Additional Requirements
∎ Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills
∎ Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
∎ Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar)
∎ Communication and project management skills
∎ Willingness to work extended hours as required.
