Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Architecture or Diploma in Architecture / Interior Design / Interior Architecture.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare architectural drawing and interior details of the building.
∎ Assesses and meets clients requirements and desires through regular meetings and conferences.
∎ Produces sketches, drawings, and floor plans using computer-aided design programs (CAD) and hand-drawing skills.
∎ Enhances and improves interior spaces' functionality by modifying architectural elements.
∎ Creates project budgets, including materials and labour.
∎ Establishes project timelines and coordinates work activity and outside contractors as necessary.
∎ Negotiates pricing for materials and labour.
∎ Maintains relationships with vendors and outside contractors, and hires out work as necessary.
∎ Participates in regular networking opportunities and actively develops a client base.
∎ Adheres to national and local building and safety codes with every design element.
∎ Works closely with various colleagues, including architects, engineers, contractors and painters.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Capable of doing interior design of apartments, buildings and usable spaces.
∎ Capable of doing landscape design of gardens and open spaces.
∎ Candidates must be smart, good looking and hard working.
∎ Candidates must be career oriented as well as able to speak nicely in all situations.
