∎ Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution

∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Licensed architect or eligible for licensing, depending on local regulations
∎ 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project management
∎ Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp), 3D modeling, and rendering tools. Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and construction methodologies
∎ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple projects
∎ Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED certification
∎ Experience in various project types, such as commercial, residential, or institutional buildings
∎ Strong attention to detail and design aesthetics
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Developing architectural concepts and designing layouts based on project needs, requirements, and environmental considerations
∎ Creating detailed drawings, blueprints, and models using both hand sketches and computer-aided design (CAD) software
∎ Ensuring that designs are functional, safe, and sustainable, with efficient use of materials and space
∎ Meeting with suppliers to discuss project goals, budgets, timelines, and design preferences
∎ Working with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address technical specifications, materials, and structural challenges
∎ Presenting designs to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making adjustments as necessary
∎ Developing and overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
∎ Monitoring construction progress to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and that quality standards are met
∎ Resolving design or construction issues promptly to avoid delays or increased costs
∎ Researching and ensuring compliance with zoning laws, building codes, safety standards, and other regulations
∎ Preparing and submit required documentation to obtain permits and approvals from local authorities
∎ Incorporating sustainable design principles, such as energy efficiency, environmentally friendly materials, and waste reduction
∎ Staying updated on architectural trends, materials, and construction techniques to continuously enhance design quality and sustainability
