Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Supply Chain Management
∎ Commerce graduate/post graduate with min 15 max 20 yrs. of experience in SCM department of reputed foil rolling mill/ flexible packaging industry.
∎ Hardcore experience of handling transporters and logistics service providers.
∎ Desirable PGDM in OPS/SCM/Materials
∎ Skills Required: Local and Foreign Purchase, PACKING, Purchase, Supply Chain, supply chain management

∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Multinational Companies, Packaging, Purchase/ Procurement, supply chain management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Multinational Companies, Packaging Industry

Job Responsibilities:
∎ (Accountabilities indicate your primary responsibilities)
∎ Craft, Develop, lead and execute purchasing & Negotiation strategies
∎ Track and report metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
∎ Partner with stakeholders
∎ Forecast price and market trends
∎ Assess, manage and mitigate risks
∎ Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
∎ Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
∎ Team Management
∎ Import Management
∎ (Key Performance Indicators are the measurement parameters and target which define your accountabilities and responsibilities)
∎ Develop, Craft, lead and execute purchasing strategies & negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
∎ Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation Checking the quality of service provided; processing payments
∎ Keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future, producing reports and statistics using computer software
∎ Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors
∎ Forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs. Keeping a constant check on stock levels.
∎ Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers
∎ Suggest process improvement in ERP as far as purchase module is concerned.
∎ Build healthy relationship with new and existing customers.
∎ Responsible for managing import vendors and material

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Knowledge of warehousing and dispatch operations and all the legal compliances related to dispatch, commercial intricacies. Effective organization and communication skills for obtaining the desired results.
∎ Excellent Commercial skills and understanding of statutory requirements
∎ Warehousing and stock ownership
∎ Return management and customer service oriented
∎ Invoicing as per daily dispatch plan
∎ Managing logistics and monitoring lorry movement
∎ Logistics market intelligence
∎ Monthly reconciliation
∎ Verification and validation of transporters freight expenses. Self-motivated
