Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing, implementing, and maintaining the safety, security, and surveillance policies and procedures of the organization.
∎ Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international safety, security, and surveillance regulations and standards.
∎ Managing the security personnel and surveillance equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and maintenance.
∎ Conducting regular risk assessments and developing risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
∎ Implement security /safety improvements measures that benefit the company's assets, visitors, foreign buyers and employees as directed by the management.
∎ Providing training and guidance to employees on safety, security, and surveillance protocols.
∎ Investigating incidents of theft, vandalism, or other security breaches and taking appropriate action to prevent future occurrences.
∎ Developing and implementing emergency response plans for various types of incidents, including natural disasters and security threats.
∎ Maintaining communication with external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and regulatory bodies.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Retired Major, Bangladesh Army
∎ At least 5 years of experience working in the RMG sector
∎ Strong knowledge of safety, security, and surveillance regulations and standards in RMG industry
∎ Well trained in HSE/Plant Safety & Security will be preferred
∎ Excellent communication and leadership skills
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Salary: Negotiable
