AGM / Manager (Electrical)

• Minimum B.Sc. Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from any reputed University (Preferably from BUET, KUET, RUET, CUET, SUST, AUST)

• Age 30 to 40 years

• At least 10-15 years, working experience in construction and electrical works in reputed Real Estate company/companies

• Working experience in Real Estate companies are preferable.

• The age limit may be relaxed for experienced and potential candidate

Qualification Requirement

• Should have ability to coordinate all Electro-Mechanical activities of projects

• Should have proper knowledge of project site activities and be able to guide them

• Sound working knowledge on Electro-Mechanical work of a high rise building

• Proven experience on quality and Electro-Mechanical finishing works of a building.

• Good Knowledge in Electro Mechanical work and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing)

• Working knowledge in Construction work and equipment required at project/ site

• Must have sound Electro-Mechanical technical knowledge to solve any problem arise in project /site

• Should be able to read and understand all designs and report any violation

• Expert knowledge on Electro-Mechanical work, construction details and BOQ

• Must have good knowledge on current material rate and work rate

• Able to negotiate and finalize rate of contractors and prepare work order

• Expertise knowledge on relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

• Knowledge on AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Power Point and any other Engineering related program

• Should be able to identify and take decision in advance which may delay the project

• Competent in conflict and crisis management and should have the ability to work under pressure.

• Prepare electrical designs and drawings for multi-storied commercial and residential buildings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and cost estimates for electrical works.

• Coordinate with DPDC, DESCO, REB, and other relevant authorities to obtain electrical construction connections and approvals.

• Directly supervise electrical installation and construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• Review and verify contractors’ bills against completed works and contractual terms.

• Prepare technical specifications, collect quotations, evaluate offers, prepare Comparative Statements (CS), obtain approvals, and issue work orders for the procurement and installation of:

  • Lifts and escalators

  • Substations and electrical distribution systems

  • HVAC systems

  • Firefighting systems

  • Generators and water pumps

  • PABX and Public Address (PA) systems

  • Cables, switches, sockets, circuit breakers, and other electrical equipment

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of the above-mentioned equipment and systems.

• Prepare and maintain as-built electrical drawings and documentation.

• Develop and conduct training programs for electricians to improve technical skills, workmanship, and safety awareness.

• Maintain valid enlistment with the Electronic Construction Permit System (ECPS), as applicable
