Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors of Science/Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed public/private university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design Review:
∎ Review of Architectural First-cut Layout Plan to finalize space requirement for Fire pump room, water transfer pump room, and underground and overhead water reservoir.
∎ Review and Finalize HVAC/VRF/Common Area AC in coordination with Planning &Coordination team.
∎ Review and Finalize Fire Protection and Detection System drawing in coordination with Planning &Coordination team including consultants.
∎ Review and Finalize Basement Ventilation System and coordination in coordination with Planning & Coordination team.
∎ Review of water Distribution System, Sanitary and Plumbing System.
∎ Check and Finalize Mechanical Ducts (like; sanitary & Plumbing, Basement ventilation and Fire protection system etc.)
∎ Review and Finalize AC indoor and outdoor location for the Residential project.
∎ Design Development:
∎ Design and Develop HVAC system, VRF and Ducted split AC, cooling load calculation, duct design, chilled water supply and return pipe according to the ASHRAE standard.
∎ Design and Develop Fire protection system according to the NFPA as well as BNBC standard.
∎ Design and develop Basement Ventilation as per Standard code.
∎ Conduct design review and develop Sanitary and plumbing system as per BNBC Guideline.
∎ Preparation BOQ, CS, Technical and Financial Evaluation and coordination with SCM Team:
∎ Prepare and finalize BOQ of HVAC, Fire protection and detection system, Basement Ventilation, Plumbing & sanitary system, Booster pump and water Transfer pumps of Residential and Commercial Projects
∎ Prepare Technical and Financial CS of Air Conditioning, Basement Ventilation, Fire protection system, Fire Detection system, Booster Pump System etc.
∎ Communicate with individual supplier regarding technical issue for CS preparation.
∎ Check Technical specification of Mechanical item before issuing Work Order.
∎ Mechanical Plant room layout checking and preparation:
∎ Prepare Equipment Layout Plan of Chiller plant room, VRF/Common Area AC, Basement Ventilation System, Booster Pump Room, AHU, Cooling Tower and Water Body etc.
∎ Coordination with site Engineers and vendors:
∎ Coordinate with site Engineers and vendors to Ensure implementation of installation work.
∎ Supervise site works to ensure quality and workmanship as per Shanta standard and drawing.
∎ Cross Check Mechanical machineries and accessories as per work order. Generate report for any discrepancy found.
∎ Communicate and coordinate meeting with site engineer, consultant, P&C and contractors as and when required.
∎ Testing, commissioning and Hand over of EME item
∎ Testing and commissioning is to be carried out on installations to ensure that they are safe and meet the design requirements.
∎ The witnessing of tests on and off site shall be defined by: Design specifications - Mechanical and Electrical. Requirements of the validation process. Commissioning Field are , HVAC system, Fire protection and Detection system, Basement ventilation, common area AC, Booster pump , VRF AC etc.
∎ Contractor Bill checking:
∎ Check Contractor's Bill of Central Air conditioning system, Fire protection system, basement ventilation, VRF AC, Ducted type split AC etc.
∎ Training Session
∎ Arrange required training sessions to enhance and share the knowledges with other Engineers about the Sanitary and plumbing system, HVAC and Fire protection system
∎ Other responsibility
∎ Supervise other EME works, CWCH project, Head office AC, sanitary and Fire maintenance work.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management Regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and within budget.
∎ Resolve issues that arise during construction.
∎ Specify the nature and quality of materials required.
∎ Nurture professional development/continuous improvement of the performance through training programs / attending workshops / symposium etc.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the management
