Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the Head of Commercial Department. As a Head of Export & Import including all Doc’s & Legal license.
∎ Supervise and ensure assigned tasks are completed by the commercial team
∎ Maintain good liaison with the buyers, suppliers, forwarders, and bank for completing the documentation & shipment on time for smooth all export and import activities.
∎ Devised and implemented short- and long-term plans, policies and practices and effectively communicated the same to team members to ensure achievement of strategic objectives.
∎ Establish, manage and improve warehousing and logistics processes and procedures.
∎ Ensure all SOP’s (Standard Operational Procedure) are followed for Export & Import.
∎ Streamline the different systems of warehouse to ensure on timely delivery of goods and information to the concerned department.
∎ All correspondence with BGMEA/BKMEA/BTMA & UD, Export order & PC monitoring.
∎ Permission & renewal monitoring all licenses like BOI, EPB, BGMEA, BKMEA, ERC, IRC, VAT.
∎ Handle Banks & C&F agents, shipping lines, Buying House and other export & import-related organizations.
∎ Ensure online shipment booking & documentation for export in a timely fashion.
∎ Make sure proper correspondents with merchandiser, factory, buyer, shipping line, right forwarder, and other concerned offices accordingly.
∎ Faster the customs process for goods clearing and transportation against Import & Export.
∎ Maintain files of each and every delivery or shipped item and from time to time provide updates to the management.
∎ Follow up with banks for receiving notification about the shipment documents, confirm the payment, and get the document released from the bank for clearing goods.
∎ Ensure forwarding copies of important documents to Merchandising, Accounts, and respective departments of the company.
∎ Issue debit or credit notes for the concerned party and update banks.
∎ Understanding of documents retirement & acceptance process for Import.
∎ Keep records of all agreements (i.e.: Purchase Order, Sales Contract, Back-to-Back, L/C, UD)
∎ Check & understand all terms and conditions of contracts to protect the company.
∎ Any commercial-related task assigned by the Top management.
∎ Maintains shipment records, discount adjustment record, logistic data update on MIS.
∎ Maintains time & action chart, follow up open all BBLC. Proper records of all LC, Payment etc.
∎ Collecting export shipping documents from factories on time and send it to buyer by checking.
∎ Follow up export proceed from buyer.
∎ Track the ETD & ETA status of each shipment.
∎ Maintain export performance report weekly, Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly.
∎ Maintain in/out flow of payments (L/C, TT, etc.)
∎ Check PI, import documents & send it to factories for clearing.
∎ Any other task has assigned by the Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply

∎ The applicants should have experience in RMG sector for more than 10 years.
∎ Commercial, Commercial and Banking, Commercial export import, Buying house.
∎ Europe, US & Canada based commercial work experience will get high preference.
∎ Good command of English and Bangle Language is needed.
∎ Export and import oriented sectors
∎ Must have strong commercial awareness, strong client liaison skills, project management, and team leadership.
∎ Must have strong interpersonal skills, an ability to eloquently convey complex ideas, and a good instinct for business.
∎ Required vast knowledge in export-Import rules, customs and banking rules and regulations local and international L/Cs, and necessary commercial documents.
∎ Should have clear knowledge about Cash incentive file making and submission.
∎ Must be good in-office application and ERP System.
∎ Strong organizational and time-management abilities
