Job Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray examinations according to physicians’ prescriptions and clinical requirements.

• Operate digital and conventional X-ray machines safely and efficiently.

• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort and cooperation.

• Position patients correctly to obtain clear, accurate, and diagnostically useful images.

• Apply appropriate exposure factors and imaging techniques according to patient needs.

• Follow radiation protection protocols and ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

• Use lead aprons, protective shields, and other radiation safety equipment when required.

• Verify patient identity and examination requests before performing imaging procedures.

• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and examination documentation.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and transfer of digital X-ray images to the relevant departments.

• Assist physicians and radiologists by providing the required diagnostic images for interpretation.

• Monitor, clean, and maintain X-ray equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Identify equipment faults and report technical problems to the appropriate authority.

• Maintain cleanliness, infection prevention, and hygiene standards in the radiology room.

• Manage patient flow and prioritize emergency cases according to hospital protocols.

• Follow hospital policies, professional ethics, and patient confidentiality requirements.

• Maintain radiation safety records and comply with applicable regulatory guidelines.

• Perform other relevant duties assigned by the hospital authority or supervisor.

• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Medical Technology (Radiology & Imaging) from a recognized institution.

• Experience: Relevant experience in a hospital, diagnostic center, or healthcare facility will be preferred.
