Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ Graduation in URP/ Civil Engineering from reputed educational institute. Candidate with M.Sc. in Transport Planning/Transport Modelling/Traffic Engineering will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute to the success of a range of transport planning projects focusing highway, public transport, traffic system, planning, traffic management and safety, analysis of traffic impact and accidents;
∎ Demonstrable technical understanding of areas of transport planning, for example, transport modelling, traffic survey and data analysis, NMT planning and road safety analysis;
∎ Collaboration with other departments for transport planning aspects;
∎ Make transportation regulations, permits, and compliance standards to ensure that all transportation activities are conducted within legal boundaries;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 7 years of professional experience of which 2 years as a Transport Planner;
∎ Candidate should have Knowledge of Spreadsheet Analysis, GIS (QGIS);
∎ Ability to produce clear, precise and coherent analysis and professional reports;
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking is desirable;
