Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The trainee (MLOP) will be trained in ophthalmic/eye patient care, which includes OPD/ Doctor Assisting, IPD/Ward/ Cabin, OT, Ocular Investigation, Counselling, Medical Record Room (MRD), Call center, Housekeeping, and a Spectacle shop.
∎ The trainee must attend the theory class, practice class, role model, etc., and practical service delivery.
∎ The training Duration will be 06 (six) months.
∎ They will be trained in the following areas:
∎ Receive the patients at the entrance/reception of the hospital.
∎ Provide information to the patients at the Help Desk.
∎ Give registration to the patients at the front desk.
∎ Counsel the patients about the investigation procedure.
∎ Take the patients to the doctor’s chamber.
∎ Take care of the patients admitted to the cabin and Word.
∎ Assists in the surgery at OT.
∎ Performed ocular investigations.
∎ Sales and fitting of spectacle.
