Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any Reputed Institution.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise the furnace operation for achieving targeted production
∎ Ensure optimum wastage control and improve the control system
∎ Select scarp and charge the scarp, sponge iron, cast iron in the furnace accordingly
∎ Melting the raw materials in optimum time and to achieve maximum lining life of the furnace
∎ Assist to develop & implement SOP for the smooth operation of the factory.
∎ Coordinate with other departments for machine maintenance and job planning
∎ Prepare the maintenance schedule align with production department
∎ Ensure safety stock (mechanical spares parts) is maintained as required.
∎ Follow-up the maintenance budget and limit maintenance costs within annual budget.
∎ Ensure daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance schedule as per the manual of the machine manufacturer.
∎ Conduct regular fire safety evacuation drill for all existing facility inside the factory.
∎ Ensure and conduct internal fire safety audit every month and sustain same.
∎ Perform any other task assigned by management as and when required.
∎ Checking of technical specifications data and test reports properly
∎ Providing guidance and technical advice to the subordinates
∎ Allocate duty to subordinate and man management
∎ Maintain floor shop house keeping
∎ Supervision, monitoring and record keeping of all related works.
∎ Prepare Daily, Weekly & Monthly Production report.
∎ Ensure safe, sound and helpful working environment through discussion, motivation and team work.
