∎ Age 25 to 45 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for receiving and distributing all types of linen, consumable items, cleaning materials and chemicals
∎ Prepare duty roster & update leave application of all Housekeeping staff
∎ Maintain and update official documents/ files, database/ documentation of store items (e.g. issue &receive the materials & update inventory/ stock)
∎ Communicate/ follow-up with the staff who are absent, leave, sick & day off
∎ Manage and ensure timely delivery of fresh linen to all areas in the hospital for smooth patient service
∎ Swept, vacuumed, dried mopped and polished floors to improve hospital conditions
∎ Cleaned and sanitized restroom and other areas of the hospital to ensure patient and employee safety
∎ Emptied waste baskets to eliminate hazards from the hospital
∎ Responsible for the cleanliness of rooms occupied by patients, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas, and the restrooms
∎ Responsible for receiving, distributing and storage of linen at laundry
∎ Disinfection of patient room after the patient has been discharged to ensure that the germs are killed there is no chance of spreading of infection or disease
∎ Keeping records about the process of waste disposal and ensuring that the process is done accordance with the policies of the hospital
∎ Any other tasks given by the management
