Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical/Marine or Electrical Engineering with experience of working in HFO based reciprocating engine power plants (Preference will be given for working experience in Wartsila-46, 32 Engines in senior positions)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Khulna Power Company Ltd., the first Independent Power Producer (IPP) in private sector of Bangladesh, owns and operates three power plants with total generation capacity of 265 MW located in and around Khulna city.
∎ Job Nature : Contractual, for 2 years.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain & operate the power plants in a safe, smooth and effective manner.
∎ Control and economic consumption of spare parts, fuel, lubricants, chemicals and other consumables.
∎ Comply with all procedures and standards of Operation & Maintenances, Environment, Health & Safety.
∎ Monitor and record process parameters and related to operation, maintenance, inventory etc.
∎ Understand faults, troubles and response with preventive and corrective actions.
∎ To coordinate and comply with other departments.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Good technical knowledge and O&M experience in HFO run Diesel Engines plants.
∎ Leadership & supervision quality; ability to guide and train subordinate engineers.
∎ Good knowledge in resource management, utilizations and inventory (Fuel/Lubs/Spares/Stores).
∎ Technical analysis and reporting ability with good computer literacy.
∎ Communication and Team spirit and able to work under pressure.
