Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Project preparation: Preparing project plans, construction plans, and work schedules
∎ Quality assurance: Ensuring quality of work is maintained throughout construction by following standard procedures and quality control
∎ Communication: Coordinating with construction workers and subcontractors, and reporting on project status and progress
∎ Safety and compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
∎ Cost preparation: Calculating labor, material, and related costs to prepare project costs
∎ Feasibility studies: Conducting environmental impact studies and analyzing engineering design to prepare feasibility studies
∎ Engineering documents: Developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules
∎ Project monitoring: Monitoring project progress, inspecting construction sites, and verifying calculations
