Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: IEB Membership
∎ Skills Required: AutoCAD, database management, English Literature, Excellent Reporting Skill, MS Office

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Industrial Safety Audit, Preliminary Safety Assessments, Structural Design
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To review preliminary engineering safety assessments reports (structural) for readymade garments factory buildings under overall guidance of the Project Manager
∎ Perform field visit along with other members to conduct preliminary assessments if needed
∎ Check raw data that has been collected by assessing engineers during field visit from factory; check data analysis, engineering calculation for reporting
∎ Check the draft Report on Structural Safety Assessment
∎ Guide lead and field engineers in writing the draft report, performing the calculations and contents of the report
∎ Trouble shoot with Project Manager for assessment related technical issues
∎ Liaison with other teams such as Assessment Team, Case Management Team for matters related to keeping records of factories, correction/modification of reports and delivery of final reports
∎ Maintain a good tracking of ongoing projects and provide progress report to the management in a timely fashion
∎ Must be a good team player and should act as a team leader for the inspection team. Should be capable to take decision immediately in deftly in critical situation

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Previous experience in the field of industrial safety assessment is mandatory for this position
∎ Must have sound Knowledge on BNBC, NTPA, ACI code & other relevant code in structural design
∎ Engineers previously or currently engaged in safety assessments/remediation program with Government, National or International entity will be preferred
∎ Excellent decision making and problem solving ability with good communication and coordination and time management skill.
∎ IEB membership (MIEB); RAJUK DMINB/CE enlistment will be added advantage

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Salary will be determined based on technical capacity and previous experiences
