Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed public university preferably from BUET, KUET, CUET, RUET.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our multi-disciplined team which specializes in innovative planning, engineering, and design solutions for industrial structures, buildings, shades, warehouse etc. It is important for the candidate to be well versed in steel structure design. A highly dedicated individual is needed to manage the drawing, detailing team.
∎ Job Location: Gulshan-2, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Structural design & analysis, detail estimation and BOQ preparation (STEEL Structure).
∎ Experience in AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD PRO, SAP 2000 and other related software tools.
∎ MUST be experienced in using national and international design codes (BNBC, IS Codes, ASCE, ASTM)
∎ Industrial work experienced and RAJUK enlisted structural Engineer will get preference.
∎ Having IEB membership is preferable.
∎ Excellent knowledge of modern architectural and engineering drawings as well as steel structural design and detailing.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Candidate must be able to work under pressure to meet the project deadline.
∎ Keep up-to-date with industry standards and trends in structural engineering in associated with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
∎ Apply judgment and give instant suitable technical decisions with respect to deliverables and input interpretation.
∎ Verbal skills and organizational ability to communicate with project teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The person should have experience in steel structures industry for at least 5 years.
