Educational Requirements:
∎ B. Sc. in Civil Engineering from any Public University or Private University.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Context:

∎ Reporting into the Team Leader, Candidate will have full responsibility for their Engineering Design Consultancy business unit.
∎ Candidate will be fully responsible for all operational and strategic management of the business.
∎ Job Location: Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Structural analysis, design, drawing & reporting.
∎ Engineering Assessment of RCC & Steel Building.
∎ Estimation of Material BOQ & Costing.
∎ Making calculations about loads and stresses
∎ Selecting appropriate construction materials
∎ Providing technical advice to construction team
∎ Obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval respected authority
∎ Liaising with relevant professional staff such as architects and MEP consultants
∎ Monitoring and inspecting work
∎ Prepared As built drawings

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Structural Engineer (essential).
∎ Professionally registered with the Institute of Structural Engineers.
∎ Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulations.
∎ Sound understanding of physics and mathematics.
∎ Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines.
∎ Three-dimensional conceptual skills.
∎ Produced a structural system and developed Finite Element Analysis models, design and interpret design results with the aid of structural design programs for the assigned project in view of safety and stability of the structure in accordance with the governing codes.
∎ Structural Engineer should know the RCC frame structure and steel structure design.
∎ Structural Engineer should know the Design software such as Auto-cad, E-tabs, SAP and staad-pro .
∎ IEB full member are preferred.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Designing, Drafting, Operation & Maintenance, Planning, Project Management

Salary: Negotiable
