Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the preparation and review of shop/working drawings for bridges and culverts based on tender specifications and design documents.
∎ Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards such as AASHTO LRFD, IRC, IS codes, and project-specific technical requirements.
∎ Coordinate with design consultants, drafting teams, and site engineers to ensure timely delivery and technical accuracy.
∎ Review and interpret tender documents, design reports, and construction drawings to extract and verify structural requirements.
∎ Provide structural input to drawing teams on reinforcement detailing, erection sequences, and fabrication feasibility.
∎ Conduct basic design checks to support or validate shop drawing development.
∎ Address technical queries from fabricators, contractors, and clients.
