Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. Inventory Tracking: Regularly monitoring stock levels of countable items, conducting cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
∎ 2. Stock Replenishment: Ordering new stock based on sales trends and inventory turnover rates, ensuring optimal levels are maintained.
∎ 3. Quality Control: Inspecting products for quality and ensuring that items are stored and displayed in compliance with standards.
∎ 4. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of inventory counts, sales data, and returns to facilitate reporting and analysis.
∎ 5. Receiving Deliveries: Overseeing the receipt of new stock, checking for accuracy, and managing storage of countable products.
∎ 6. Customer Assistance: Providing product information and assistance to customers, ensuring they can find and purchase countable items easily.
∎ 7. Loss Prevention: Implementing strategies to minimize theft or loss of inventory, including monitoring employee activities and conducting regular audits.
∎ 8. Reporting: Preparing reports on inventory levels, sales performance, and product movement to inform management decisions.
