Additional Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:

1. Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

2. Measure, mark, cut, bend, shape, and prepare steel plates and structural components according to drawings.

3. Perform plate fitting, alignment, tack welding, and assembly of steel structures and components.

4. Operate cutting, grinding, drilling, bending, and plate-rolling equipment safely.

5. Perform accurate fit-up of plates, beams, angles, channels, pipes, and other metal components.

6. Prepare joints and surfaces for welding and coordinate with welders during fabrication.

7. Check dimensions, angles, alignment, tolerances, and overall quality of fabricated components.

8. Fabricate steel structures, tanks, frames, ducts, supports, and industrial equipment as required.

9. Repair, modify, and rectify fabrication defects or dimensional issues.

10. Use hand tools, power tools, gas/plasma cutting equipment, and other fabrication machinery safely.

11. Follow technical drawings, work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.

12. Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working condition.

13. Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use required PPE at all times.

14. Coordinate with welders, fitters, supervisors, and QC personnel to complete fabrication work efficiently.

15. Complete assigned fabrication tasks within project timelines while maintaining required quality standards.
