Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Nursing, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Must have Bangladesh Nursing Council Registration

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work on shift duties.
∎ Standards and expectation in the quality of care.
∎ Receives the daily report of every patients:
∎ Knows the case in detail, progress of the patient, ensures all orders before her shift has been carried or which to take over.
∎ Assess condition of patient compare with report.
∎ Plan nursing care according to assessment or evaluation.
∎ Determines nursing priorities and plans patient care according to staff availability.
∎ Provides individualized holistic care to patients using The Nursing process approach with proper nursing documentation in patients file.
∎ Report all abnormal findings and progress of patients to the relevant doctors/consultants.
∎ Follows doctors/consultants ward round and assists them in doing procedures when required.
∎ Carries out orders of doctors/consultants pertaining to care of patient
∎ Discusses with the relevant doctors/consultants with regards to care of patients in the Unit/ward.
∎ Informs the Unit Manager when change occurs in Circumstances that affect standards of care.
∎ Establishes a good working environment in which patients receive a high standard of care.
∎ Establishes and develops effective communication with all.
∎ Disciplines patients and relatives to achieve optimal patients Satisfaction.
∎ Conducts regular nursing round on all patients in the ward.
∎ Ascertain for other additional needs or to spend time with them or just to talk to them or gives them company as an integral part of providing emotional support.
∎ Maintains the safety policy and ensures that all accidents/ incidents are reported to the Unit Manager and documented.
∎ To carry out duties as an employee as stipulated in occupational safety and health act and regulations.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Candidates must have flexibility to work on roster duty.
