∎ Sr. Vacuum Sewer Operators: Minimum 06-07 Years
∎ Recruitment & migration cost to be born by the selected candidate
∎ A high school diploma or equivalent and technical certification in wastewater treatment or a related field are preferred.
∎ Proven experience in operating and maintaining vacuum sewage systems
∎ Strong understanding of wastewater management principles and regulatory requirements.
∎ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
∎ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to various audiences.
∎ Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
∎ Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
∎ Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
∎ Preference will be given to candidates who know SCADA systems.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Operate and maintain vacuum sewer systems to ensure efficient wastewater transport, minimizing downtime and service interruptions.
∎ Conduct regular inspections of vacuum stations and collection tanks, identifying signs of wear and potential failures before they escalate.
∎ Perform routine maintenance on pumps, valves, and other machinery, following established safety protocols to prevent accidents.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in real time, utilizing diagnostic tools to maintain system integrity.
∎ Document all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in detail, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
∎ Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement improvements to the vacuum sewer system.
∎ Respond to emergency calls promptly, assessing situations and executing appropriate remedial actions to restore service.
∎ Train new operators on the proper use of equipment and safety practices, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
∎ Monitor environmental conditions and adherence to regulations, prepared to report any incidents or non-compliance issues.
∎ Maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies, coordinating with suppliers to ensure availability and timely replacements.
