Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Identify, evaluate, and respond to government tenders related to regular and heavy-duty vehicle parts.
∎ Prepare and submit tender documents in compliance with government procurement rules.
∎ Coordinate with government offices, defense procurement authorities (Army, Navy, Air Force), and transport departments.
∎ Maintain an updated database of pricing, vendors, and vehicle part specifications.
∎ Lead negotiation, compliance, and post-tender communication processes.
∎ 3 to 5 years of experience in handling government tenders for motor vehicle and/or heavy industrial vehicle parts.
∎ Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field from any recognized institution (e.g., Bangladesh Technical Education Board, BUET, DUET, BSMRAU, etc.)
∎ Strong understanding of government procurement rules (PPR).
∎ Proficient in tender analysis, costing, and compliance documentation.
∎ Excellent liaison and communication skills with public sector entities.
∎ Ability to interpret technical specs and source correct OEM parts.
∎ Motorhead BD Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Government Tender & Procurement Specialist to manage and execute government tenders related to motor vehicle and heavy industrial vehicle parts. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of public procurement processes (PPR), strong liaison skills with government and defense agencies, and the ability to handle technical specifications and compliance documentation effectively.Key Responsibilities:
