Job Context:
∎ Marium Eye Hospital a sister concern of Quasem Foundation, is a non-government voluntary organization. Which is helping the poor and distressed people of the greater Rangpur division in Kurigram-Ulipur, Nageswari, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Saidpur, and Domar with 3 hospitals, and 3 vision centers. The emphasis is on quality eye care for all socio-economic sections of society. We are committed to delivering our best quality eye care through a competent and passionate professional team at an affordable cost to the optimal satisfaction of our patients.
∎ We are currently looking for an energetic, dynamic and enthusiastic person for the following position: Senior Medical Officer (SMO) / Medical Officer (MO).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Marium Eye Hospital (MEH) has been implementing Eye Care Services program through well -established six (6) eye hospitals located in Rangpur Division.
∎ Job descriptions:
∎ Diagnosis and treatment eye diseases in the hospital outdoor and eye camp.
∎ Refer surgical patient from eye camp to MEH Eye Hospital.
∎ Conduct routine eye examination.
∎ Identify surgical patient and advice for surgery.
∎ Work in multidisciplinary team with other medical officer and staff.
∎ Perform other related duties assigned by hospital management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Having working experience as MO/SMO in any leading Eye Hospital may be given preference.
∎ At least 01 (one) year of working experience in clinical management in Ophthalmology.
∎ Should have mental preparation for long hour's services in stress situation.
∎ Computer literacy is preferred.
∎ This position is for the Medical Graduates who wants to develop career in the field of Ophthalmology.
∎ After completion of 3 (three) years of services, candidates will be encouraged to appear for Diploma in Ophthalmology/FCPS examination, and they will be granted study leave.
