∎ Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices
∎ Excellent communication and negotiation skills
∎ Proficiency in using import/commercial software and tools
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
∎ Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
∎ Proven experience in a Executive-commercial or import related role

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods
∎ Obtain and manage all necessary import licenses and permits
∎ Monitor and track shipments to ensure they arrive on schedule
∎ Handle customs clearance processes and resolve any issues that may arise
∎ Prepare and submit required documentation to customs authorities
∎ Ensure that imported goods meet quality and safety standards
∎ Maintain relationships with suppliers and address any issues or concerns
∎ Coordinate transportation and logistics for imported goods
∎ Optimize shipping routes and methods to minimize costs and delays
∎ Monitor import-related expenses and ensure they stay within budget
∎ Review and approve invoices for imported goods and services
∎ Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
∎ Collaborate with other departments such as sales, finance, and procurement to ensure alignment of import activities with overall business objectives
