∎ We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain Executive to play a vital role in optimizing our supply chain operations. The Supply Chain Executive will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement, inventory management, and supply chain coordination, ensuring the efficient flow of materials essential for our company`s success. The successful candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strategic mindset to contribute to our ongoing growth.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in the procurement of all materials required for the company's operations.
∎ Source new vendors and negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers, vendors, and freight forwarders.
∎ Build backup sources of suppliers and vendors to ensure a robust supply chain.
∎ Conduct regular and random inventory checks on all company stores, warehouses, and assets.
∎ Analyze and compare information about supplier performance and pricing.
∎ Coordinate supply chain activities with various functional areas of the company, including production, sales, marketing, and finance.
∎ Design and implement supply chain practices that align with business strategies and adapt to market changes and cost reduction strategies.
∎ Monitor forecasts and trends to identify changes and their effects on supply chain activities.
∎ Forecast demand for products to meet the business's needs.
∎ Identify and manage risks associated with supply contracts and agreements.
∎ Oversee the importation of goods as per the user's specifications and track shipments.
∎ Communicate with banks, insurance providers, and customs clearance authorities.
∎ Handle material clearing from ports.
∎ Submit bills of entry to banks and VAT departments.
∎ Manage the opening of Letters of Credit (LC) for raw materials, machinery, and other requirements.
∎ Locate and identify cost-effective and reliable suppliers and initiate business partnerships with them.
∎ Maintain effective communication, tracking, and follow-up with suppliers, buyers, and shipping agents.
∎ Issue job orders to production teams for timely material utilization.
∎ Arrange meetings to ensure proper inventory management of raw materials and packaging materials.
∎ Assist in the development of new masterbatch samples and machinery verification lists.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge of activities related to planned purchases of Company materials (both local & foreign).
∎ Knowledge of strategic issues such as material requirement planning, inventory control, warehousing, receiving, distribution, etc.
∎ Knowledge of forecast of demand and creation of procurement plans to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials for production and other activities.
∎ Should have excellent interpersonal relationship skills as well as writing, reporting, analytical, and independent correspondence skills.
∎ Knowledge of pre & post-cost analysis of imported materials.
∎ Knowledge of Supply Chain reporting of inventory status and other related information.
∎ Knowledge of Keeping track of stock & inventory position and necessary action plan.
∎ Must have good knowledge of Import-Export documentation, LC management, and shipping cycle monitoring.
∎ Must have adequate knowledge of the HS code, Customs Act, Import Policy, Export Policy, Insurance policy, Customs formalities, and other related laws applicable to Import and Export.
∎ Must know about coordination with the Bank, Insurance, and Freight forwarder/C&F agent about LC issuance/acceptance and material clearing from ports.
∎ Knowledge of international trade, customs regulations, and supply chain best practices.
∎ Good communication and email writing skills.
