Freight Forwarding/ C&F
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Streamline all operations while maintaining regular control and communication of team with all stake holder. (Local Customers, & Logistic Companies.)
∎ Monitor and supervise the activities of clearing and forwarding business independently.
∎ Handle port and customs operation effectively.
∎ Adequate experience to manage customs activities independently and regular reporting to the Head of Commercial.
∎ To execute, monitoring Shipment, Customs Formalities, Documentation and fast customs clearance of goods etc.
∎ All Export/Import procedure, Bank activities, Customs rules regulations, Bond license and various procedures related to this.
∎ Customs Rules and Regulations of the Government of Bangladesh.
∎ Customs Tax, Clearing & Forwarding, Port Clearance, Freight Forwarding, Import, Export, Re-Export Processes, Sea & Air Cargo Handling, Import permits etc.
∎ Rules & Regulation of Chittagong Port, Dhaka Airport, Benapol Land Port and other Ports along with Operation, Cost & Expenses.
∎ Cargo Handling (including C&F Cost, Port Cost, Lift on/ Lift off, Transport Cost etc.)
∎ Heavy Lift, Haulage, Inland- Marine Transportation, Crane, SPMT, Module Trailer, Low Bed, Barge, Tug, Costal Vessel Operation, Project Cargo Handling, ODC Cargo Handling etc.
∎ Documentation for clearing the imported goods from customs and forwarding the exported goods. H.S code and its application, Bill of Entry, Bill of Exchange (B/E), Bill of Lading (B/L), Bill of Export, SRO, HAB, MAWB, PSI, ICD, LCL & FCL Cargo, IGM & EGM, Tariff of import & export goods, Pre & Post Shipment Inspection.
∎ Assessable Value & Invoice value, INCOTERMS, Commercial, Banking, Customs and Shipping terms knowledge.
∎ The candidate must have extensive knowledge about customs duty, structure, Import and Export Goods Tariff, and Custom Duty calculations and detailed knowledge about H.S. Code, Import / Export policies, Govt. Gazettes and SRO(s) and delivery status, VAT and TAX related knowledge.
∎ Maintain and keep records of all the literature, Brochure of imported material, which is required by the Customs & Licensing Authority at the time of assessment and Physical verification of the material at the time of delivery from the port.
∎ Verify and maintain the transport bills.
∎ Maintain close relationships with customs authorities, port authorities, Shipping / Forwarding Agent offices, and other related trade bodies in Chittagong.
∎ Must have a clear conception and understanding of Keep records of the historical data of imports & exports.

∎ Experience in relevant field with a reputed Pharmaceuticals Company will be considered as added advantage
∎ Hard working and innovative
∎ Strong leadership, interpersonal & negotiation skills
∎ Articulate in both Bangla and English communication
∎ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Salary: Negotiable
