Educational Requirements:
∎ DA/MD/FCPS in Anaesthesiology.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess whether a patient is fit enough to undertake an operation before surgery takes place and agree on an anesthetic plan.
∎ Evaluating patients vital signs, medical histories, allergies, current medication use and other risk factors.
∎ Reassure patients about what will happen during and after the operation.
∎ Initiative anesthesia, providing safe preoperative care and pain relief to patients using anesthetics and analgesics.
∎ Continuous monitor patients while they’re under anesthesia to make sure they remain in a stable condition, checking their blood pressure, heart activity, oxygen and cabon dioxide levels, breathing and body temperature for example.
∎ Maintaining detailed notes on patient treatment, dosing and vital signs.
∎ Continuing care after surgery to control the level of pain relief and consciousness and communicating continuing care to nurses.
∎ Monitor conditions of patients before, during and after anesthesia to look out for adverse reactions.
∎ Coordinate and direct a team of nurses, medical technicians and other healthcare professionals.
∎ Collaborate and communicate with other medical professionals to determine care plans and provide high quality patient care.
∎ Provide and maintain life support and airway management and help prepare patients for emergency surgery.
∎ Sedation anesthesia has to be given in Endoscopy & Colonoscopy, MRI, Radiology &
∎ Oncology departments.
∎ Have to attend Code blue for airway management when called.
∎ Junior consultant will conduct and actively take part in arranging and conducting all CME programs.
∎ Maintains good working relationships with other departments and with physicians, patients and families.

∎ Should have good command on English & Bangla with good speaking and writing skill
