∎ ROLE PROFILE:
∎ The purpose of this role is to work with the Site / Project Supervisor, Project Engineer and Project Manager to coordinate key activities on site.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee and direct the construction projects from conception to completion
∎ Prepare budget estimates of the projects and report on cost tracking
∎ Formulate an effective schedule for the construction plans and monitor construction productivity and schedule performance
∎ Review the engineering and architectural drawings for ensuring that all regulations and specifications are being followed
∎ Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment. Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed. Ensure that supplies & equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
∎ Coordinate with architecture & engineering consultants for efficient and smooth functioning of projects
∎ Prepare tender documents.
∎ Investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance. Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement
∎ Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture among the ranks throughout the Company.
∎ Ensure compliance with building codes and other regulations
∎ Analyze, evaluate, manage and mitigate risks
∎ Verify the bills of contractors
∎ Keep the management aware of the progress of construction projects and prepare progress reports regularly
∎ Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during the projects
∎ Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out
∎ Perform any other works as assigned by the Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
∎ 12 to 15 years (s) of total experience with 5 years in a similar role
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Construction Management, engineering surveying, Construction Safety
∎ PREFERRED SKILLS:
∎ Skills Required: Communication, Conflict management, facility management, Negotiation Skills, Problem-solving and decision making, Team management
∎ Computer skills e.g., MS Office are essential. Expert knowledge in excel and PowerPoint
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
∎ Age 36 to 40 years
