Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering
∎ Diploma from government institutes are preferred. Interested graduate engineers meeting the criteria may also apply
∎ Skills Required: Auto CAD Drafting, MS Office, Quality control, Report Writing
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
RCC Building Construction, Site Management, Steel Structure
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Engineering Firms
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall supervision of construction works at the site (RCC Building, Steel Structures etc) as per provided design-drawing ensuring construction methodology and quality.
∎ Day to day management of the site, interpret design-drawing to the workers and subcontractors, assign daily jobs to the workforce.
∎ Corelate between civil works, structural-architectural requirements, steel structure works, plumbing, firefighting, electrical works etc.
∎ Ensure overall quality control of the project activities as per the standard set by management.
∎ Keep Liaison with subcontractors, consultants, clients and their representatives.
∎ Perform quantity & cost estimation for RCC, Steel structures etc in the form of BoQ with product specifications for new and ongoing projects.
∎ Prepare and submit daily work report on the ongoing works, material inventory, forecasting upcoming events etc.
∎ Procure raw materials for site, check quality of the procured materials before receiving and unloading.
∎ Troubleshoot technical issues, provide instant solutions against problems in consultation with the line manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have experience in monitoring of construction of RCC Building and Steel Structure.
∎ Must be capable to understand engineering drawing-design and capable to determine the operational material costs and qualities (BoQ).
∎ Ability to supervise the retrofitting works for RCC and Steel Structured building will be added advantage.
∎ Willing to work as site-based resident engineer anywhere in Bangladesh.
∎ Must be a dynamic & hard working team player with positive interpersonal skill.
Salary: Negotiable
