Job Context:
∎ S. A GROUP OF INDUSTRIES is looking for an experienced person for the position of Shift Miller, in its Factory (Atta, Moida, Shuji) Chattogram.
∎ Job Location: Chattogram (the applicant should be able to commit to stay longer period of time in Chattogram)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take direction from Plant Head.
∎ Transfer/clean/temper/blend wheat accurately based on information provided by the Plant Head, the QC & QA Manager.
∎ Assist Plant Head, QA & QC Manager with Prioritizing/ Scheduling Workforce, Preventative Maintenance Tasks, Repairs and Sanitation.
∎ Communicate with other shift millers.
∎ Inspect & documents review QA analysis sheets for at least the last 24 - hour period.
∎ Monitor testing result and make any needed corrections to maintain spec perform / Record mill extractions in accordance with the plant head's instructions.
∎ Maximize optimum yield, moisture gain, and production by running extractions with one hour roll checks, proper load on mill, proper adjustment of purifiers, clean purifier screens, adjust roll brushes, weighting, and monitor cleaning house to minimize wheat loss.
∎ Produce a food safe product that meets the specifications of the customer by sampling finished product, ensuring proper ingredients, temper water adjustments.
∎ Supervise and participate in mill repairs of roll changes, sifter repair, filter sock changing, purifier repair, spout repairs, lubrication and preventive maintenances to optimize mill efficiency and minimize unscheduled downtime.
∎ Changing or cleaning blower filters, replacing sprockets, chains, and other equipment that would not require an experienced maintenance in order to optimize mill efficiency and minimize unscheduled downtime.
∎ Supervise department utility personnel and monitor plant utility in proper cleaning procedures within all
∎ areas to control and maintain required housekeeping standards.
∎ Responsibility for monitoring all plant rules and policies.
∎ Supervision of entire plant.
∎ When plant head / Department head are not present, then the shift miller will be the site supervisor.
∎ Any other job assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Flour Mill sector Experienced should be preferable.
∎ Milling skills and knowledge is essential.
∎ At least 5 years of working experience in flour milling industry.
Salary: Negotiable
