∎ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
∎ 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on automation testing
∎ Strong expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Pytest, Robot framework or similar for web, API and Appium for mobile automation
∎ Strong experience with scripting and programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
∎ Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Argo CD, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI etc.
∎ Solid understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, performance, load, and security testing
∎ Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git
∎ Working knowledge of database testing (PostgreSQL, SQL etc.)
∎ Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
∎ Familiarity with containerisation tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
∎ Experience with cloud-based environments and infrastructure testing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
∎ Proficiency in bug tracking tools like JIRA, and test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr
∎ Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
∎ Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive solutions for complex problems
∎ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
∎ Experience with mobile automation tools like Espresso or XCUITest in addition to Appium

∎ Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, Locust or K6
∎ Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber for app and web automation scenarios
∎ Experience in the Fintech industry or similar domains
∎ Certification in relevant automation testing tools or platforms
∎ Understanding of compliance standards such as PCI-DSS or ISO 27001

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionalities, performance, and scalability
∎ Collaborate with development teams to identify testing requirements, define test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
∎ Work closely with product managers/designers to analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical specifications
∎ Implement and execute automated regression tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline to ensure timely and efficient releases
∎ Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability
∎ Perform code reviews and provide technical feedback to improve test automation quality
∎ Identify, analyze, and document bugs, working closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
∎ Enhance and expand existing test automation frameworks to support various applications and platforms
∎ Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD process, ensuring a smooth and efficient deployment pipeline
∎ Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in test automation and software quality assurance
∎ Mentor and guide junior team members
∎ Promote best practices in test automation and software testing
