Education:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry, Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
∎ M.Sc. in Chemistry / M.Pharm from a reputed university.

Additional Requirements:
∎ • Sound knowledge of GMP, GLP, and analytical techniques.
∎ • Experience with QC instruments such as HPLC, UV, FTIR, etc.
∎ • Strong observation, reporting, and documentation skills.
∎ • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ As a Senior QC Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards by executing and supervising quality control procedures in compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Your duties will include:
∎ 1. Quality Testing & Analysis:
∎ • Perform chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
∎ • Ensure compliance with product specifications, pharmacopeial standards (BP/USP/EP), and in-house test methods.
∎ • Supervise daily laboratory testing activities and support junior analysts.
∎ 2. Method Validation & Documentation:
∎ • Support method development and validation activities.
∎ • Maintain accurate and complete test records, analytical reports, and laboratory logs.
∎ • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
∎ 3. Equipment Handling & Calibration:
∎ • Operate and maintain QC instruments such as HPLC, UV, FTIR, Dissolution Tester, etc.
∎ • Ensure timely calibration, qualification, and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
∎ 4. GMP & Compliance:
∎ • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols in all QC operations.
∎ • Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections as required.
∎ • Maintain a clean and controlled laboratory environment.
∎ 5. Sample Management:
∎ • Manage sample receipt, storage, and disposal according to SOP.
∎ • Ensure proper labeling and tracking of all samples.
∎ 6. Collaboration & Reporting:
∎ • Coordinate with Production, QA, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues.
∎ • Prepare test summary reports and assist in investigation of OOS/OOT results.
